Postdoc

Marie Labussière

My name is Marie Labussière and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the CAREER team. I am particularly interested in analyzing how social, ethnic and gender inequalities develop over the life course of individuals in the context of institutional conditions. As part of the CAREER project, I will study employer demand for skills in the British and Dutch labor markets and its consequences for the employment trajectories of workers.

During my engineering studies, I developed a growing interest in sociology and quantitative methods for social sciences. After a master’s degree in social science focusing on interdisciplinarity practices, I completed a PhD at Maastricht University on the relevance of citizenship for the educational outcomes of the children of immigrants in the Netherlands.
