The CAREER team was in Germany last week for a great workshop co-organized with the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).
The 1,5 day was full of interesting presentations and exchanges: effects of vocational vs. general education, task-biased technological change, role of further training, returns to skills, definition of vocational specificity, regional disparities in skill requirements, use of job ads data, skill mismatches…our research and interest overlap in so many ways!
All in all: a great start for future collaborations!
